In 1981, Collector's Auto Restoration opened up their doors to provide a service for customers who wanted their vehicles restored to what was once the car of their dreams. This was a vision for Jim Ratcliffe since he could remember. Since then Jim and Rachel Ratcliffe have owned and operated their business eventually brining in their daughter Larena. In 1990, the business began to grow and was now the most reputable collision repair facility in northern Virginia. Now, CAR Collision Center (Collector's Auto Restoration) has been well known in the Washington DC area for the highest level of service and respect to our clients and our commitment to excellence.
Today, CAR Collision Center has a 15,000 square foot facility which is an I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) Gold shop as well as a certified DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) repair shop. Our I-CAR Gold number is 16410. Jim is also the northern Virginia I-CAR district chairman.
CAR Collision Center has autobody, paint, & mechanical services to provide one stop convience to all of our customers. We use state-of-the-art collision repair equiptment, computerized frame and body measuring systems to ensure the quality of our work.
